Sorry- I know there was a pic or two of the Knight's 16" SR-25 with suppressor from the SHOT show here but I can't find 'em- Does anyone have the pic? SMGLee?

Why the "k" designation, are they using "kurtz" like germans do?
Pretty slick |
I really want an .308 in a AR-15 platform, especially since it looks like the 6.8 may never take off.
Aren't we your "special friends"?
Good luck, looks like you should be able to sell all you can make! |
What's the profile/diameter of the 16" Match barrel?
After the ban ends, when can I expect mine to show up at my dealer's? |
Man.. Good stuff! Thanks very much to those who provided pics and Jaxson for the details- I appreciate it!
I would call it a medium-heavy.... |

SR-25K, SHOWN ABOVE. NOT AN SR-25 BATTLE RIFLE. THE OBERMEYER BARREL IS 0.850" UNDER THE HANDGUARDS AND FLUTED. IT IS 0.625" FORWARD OF THE GAS BLOCK. NOTE HOW I USED THE ORIGINAL ARMS #19-ACOG MOUNT. IT IS THE ONLY SUCH MOUNT THAT WILL ALLOW THE INSTALLATION OF THE KAC BRASS DEFLECTOR. FOR SOME REASON, PERCEIVED RECOIL WITH THIS RIG IS LESS THAN WITH A MUCH HEAVIER MK 11 MOD 0. WES GRANT M.S.T.N. |

this is a pic of the SR 25 Battle Rifle, Taken by yours truely!!!!!!http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-8/809035/Lowleft.jpg

Any idea on retail if it does hit the market post-September? That looks like something I should start saving up for now.
I wonder if a Magpul M93A stock would be feasible on that? |
The only price we have established is per a us govt. contract. Until we are able to set up a meeting of when we would get a production line started it's up in the air. However, I sure if the the ban gets lifted it would be towards the top of the list of things to do, I'm sure. I would check back a few months after the vote! Jeff |

Wes, I wanna come work for you....you have all the fun toys. Anything with MSTN attached to it makes me want to spend money.
Stop it |
That's one beautiful looking firearm! |
I agree. But where are all the folks who state so confidently that collapsable stocks are weird & ugly on full length barreled rifles??? I guess Knight's shuts them up! |

Ok, you got me. I was thinking about a shorty M1A SOCOM or FAL. But if you guys make an SR25 shorty, I'll buy one. I'll even wait awhile.

Jaxon,
Can you give me/us the specs on this gun? I can tell you, if this rifle comes to the civiy market, my plans of a DSA FAL are gone. |
+1 |

Since I'm in Ca. and have to make due with the AR10 I currently own...
Looks like it will be a Magpull M93A stock and a rifle length SIR for my 20in AR10A4. |
sorry to hear that!!!!!heshoot me an im or just ask on the thread... |
I SEE THAT KNIGHT'S USES THE PRI GAS BUSTER CHARGING HANDLE NOW, JUST LIKE ME! IT'S NICE WITH THE MAN-SIZED WEAPON TO HAVE A BIG ENOUGH CHARGING HANDLE TO GRAB. THERE'S JUST A BIT MORE RECOIL SPRING PRESSURE TO OVERCOME WITH THE 7.62X51.
I WANT THE NEW BUFFER. ANY OTHER NEW INTERNAL TRICKS YOU CAN TALK ABOUT? WES |
That rifle is a piece of art. I want one for a safe queen. How special do you have to be to get one of them, special like L.E., or special like big military contract with lots of money? Just wondering.
I think I'm special because I have 3 KMC rifles and a bunch of their accessories. I would love to make my SR-25 match into one of those. |
...MUST HAVE ONE! money talks gentlemen, so that leaves me out.
ok... why is this any different than an armalite 308 carbine? forward assist?
Thanks! |
It works? |
heh.. i have heard about ar10's problems with extraction and such but have we even began to prove that the sr-25k can accually hold up? there aren't that many made of them are there?
what was that one site that showed side by side comparisions of ar10 and sr25 stuff... had a bunch of weapon manuals... WTF!?? Thanks! |

Got ya back buddy. |
Not that whacky triangly one, though; just the standard donut or triangle with a .308-calibrated drop ladder. Otherwise, +1. -Troy |
WORD....on a LaRue mount so I can snap an Aimpoint on it occasionally just for fun |

Thanks Spooge5150!!!!!!!!!!!!! jeff |
