Adco and KKF both can do it. Both do great work but I believe Adco will have it back to you a little quicker. In fact I'm about to send a couple of barrels to them to have them cut and re-threaded to 14.5" with permanently installed phantom.

any skilled gunsmith or machinist with a lathe and a 1/2-28 TPI die can do it.
I am guessing that the usual smiths that many on the forum use are going to be swamped and have quite a backlog of work to go through, that's the only reason I suggest looking for a potential alternate source. |

What is the proper length to have turned and threaded for the attachment of a FS? I know the threads are .500"X28tpi

I measured the threaded area of a preban threaded muzzle and it approximately 5/8" of threads.

I'm assuming it shouldn't have to be exact length since you're using a peel or crush washer. |
