I saw the below ad and don't know what it means!?  [No, I am not the seller nor related to them]  Assuming a civilian can buy it, what would be a reasonable price range? Would the $200 Federal transder fee be in effect?  Thanks!

"Colt M16A2 Commando Post Sample Machine Gun from originally from a police department for sale.  Must go to an ffl/sot with demo letter, or to law enforcement."

The gun is a post sample and must go to a dealer who has thier SOT and a demo letter, or to another police dept or military unit. That gun is not a transferable. the price is so cheap because it is a post sample.

...just another case of "too good to be true."

What you want to look for is guns listed as transferable. Any other designation you will not be able to own individually.
