Hello AR Brothers,I have a new family member.I put a BM upper on my RR lower and it will not fit.The upper is a M4 and the back tab where the pin goes needed to be rounded to fit and the tab is to long.I filed the upper to make it fit.Did I do the right thing??.Has anyone had to do this? Who is not Mil-Spec? Thank you Dice

I believe the RRA has a higher shelf, It's much faster to do what you did than to cut down the shelf.

As already stated the RRA is higher than spec.

Does it cause any problems if you put a RRA upper on a Bush lower? I would think the RRA upper would be higher inside to make up for the higher shelf on the RRA lower...
