What I really appreciated about WoTG was that Phillipe, who was armed with a shotgun, actually had a shell bag on his belt. You know, actual gear that is APPROPRIATE for once? Instead of a Poncho Villa-style bandoller?
The only gun-stuff I didn't like were the lack of mags for the RIFLE (yes, it was a Galil, and yes, mags for that sucker are rare and expensive here, but why pick a GALIL when you could have gotten a much-better-supported AR or AK?), and the stupid, fake-looking track of bulletholes that Del Toro's character made in the room with the Galil. Otherwise, gun-handling in all scenes was EXCELLENT, and showed a very high level of training and experience for a Hollywood film.
I must admit, having some REAL advisors, and actually LISTENING to them for a change, has really improved a number of recent Hollywood movies, most of which are listed in this thread.
One last "honorable mention": While much of the gun-handling was pretty fake and "movie-like", you really have to like the scene in Last Man Standing where Bruce Willis is loading up an entire table full (50+) of 1911 mags. FINALLY we get to see where all those bullets come from. Unfortunately, they don't bother to show us how he manages to conceal 50 1911 mags on his person...
