I know this has been discussed a million times before, but bare with me.

I know deniro's gang had M16's.  But in the actual robbery scene, Pacino had a semi auto carbine type rifle, what was it?  It sure looks nicer than a FN FAL.  It looks similar to a robinson armament carbine I suppose.

I think its the same rifle that LAPD carries in their trunks now after that hollywood robbery, Ive seen cops with the same rifle Pacino had in some documentary about the upgrades they've made since the north hollywood shootout.

NoCompromise, is that a compact USP with a Hogue Handall next to the Sig on the bottom?

Is the Sig a P226?

Pacino did have a colt officer 45,with ivory grips and night sights, Deniro had a 9mm Sig 226, as for long guns, the stakeout squad had
1.mossberg military pump shotguns (the ones with the heat cover over barrel) also, Benellis M1.
2.M16s with standard 20 inch barrel
3.Pacino had a FAL PARA (shortened barrel and folding stock)

The robbery squad had
1.a spring blackjack
2.colt m16 commando (A1 version with birdcage flash hider)
3.Tom sizemore, if I remember well had a GALIL rifle, but I'm not sure on it.

However, the weapon consultant was Andy McNab, the one of "bravo two zero" fame.

bvm,

Dunno the actual maker but it looks like a fairly standard crossdraw rig. Good if you spend a lot of time sitting in cars. Not so good if you talk to a lot of people who might take a fancy to your gun.
