Welcome aboard Scott, there really is a wealth of info on these boards. And like he said, just start saving your money as the black rifle can be the money pit. I'm sure you can find a good deal on the equipment exchange board as a lot of us have done.

Mark thinks it's funny to accuse every new member of being a troll, BOG was a sort of infamous troll who got banned from here,a nd some other places.
Someone e-mailed me the pics of MarkM and Lotboy playing "Han Solo rescues the Princess and Gets His Reward" I did not realize the men did such things with other men [:o] Anyway welcome aboard, get out that 2nd mortgage now because you will get talked into buying 1-at least 2 more ARs 2-some other kind of pistol (Springfield XD is the currently one they are trying to talk everyone into getting) 3-Mossberg 590 4-Sniper rifle, the Remington LTR is the one they are trying to get everyone to buy now 5-A .50 6- An AK 7-an ak in a different caliber 6-a scope for your AR that costs at least $ 350 and probably $ 700 7-ammo here is bought in the minimum by the 1000s 8-some weird kind of little lady's pistol (a .32 is the current one) 9-An FAL or HK 91, depending on who you listen to. You get the idea |

I am in Abilene most of the time, but make weekend trips to DFW some. I gota hold of about 80, mostly Colt 20 rounders.
