Is it Ok to 'cut" a 30 round magazine spring to fit a 20 round mag, by following the 20 rds spring lenght? The original spring got rusted and i have a good spring that came from a dented 30 round mag. Thanks.

I have cut a few and they seem to work ok. Had to bend the bottom leg to match a normal spring but it was easy to do. It seems likes there is a litle to much pressure when I put the last round in though. Must be because of the thicker wire the thirty round spring is made of.
