Fellow AR Members,

Does anyone know if the PRE-BAN R-6700 Competition HBAR Upper Receiver has Colt markings?  I have one that is small front pin, A3 flat-top and has no markings.  Biggerhammer.net shows a pic of a late model A3 that has the "C AF" markings, but no reference to the older ones.

Both the large hole and small hole upper receivers of the preban R-6700 Competition HBAR are unmarked except for the proof marks above the front end of the ejection port.  They are sometimes very faint and easily overlooked.

I too have a small hole flattop upper from a Colt Comp. Hbar that has no markings.

I have a 6700 I bought new in the box years ago. It has no markings on the upper receiver either.
