I'm thinking of getting one for my JT-Dist based M4gery. I think my particular rifle's gas port is on the high side of the size range, and I want a little better recoil absorbsion from the buffer system.

Anyone use CS springs? What's the skinny?

My understanding is that unlike regular spings, the "force" is constant, as opposed to getting heavier as the spring is compressed.

Throw them in the titanium firing pin and hell fire trigger bin.

In other words, save your money. You want a lower cyclic rate? Put an M16  bolt carrier in your rifle.  If you're worried about the legality (there is a recurring argument about this on the site[:D]), grind about 3/16 inch off the sear trip surface on the underside.

Weight slows cyclic rate; not springs.

Or a heavier buffer?
