I don't like the A2 pistol grip at all. The finger divider is very annoying. Other than an A1 grip what options does a lefty have?  The Ergo grip looks right hand only. I saw a grip called the Clip Grip that looks like it might work. Anyone ever hear of it? The Pachmayr grip looks weird on an AR but looks like it would be o.k. for a lefty. Your thoughts please.

I'm a lefty - have an ergo grip on 1 of my
ARs - it feels fine ( Much better than the A2 )

It has a very minimal thumb rest , and you
can sand it down if you want.

I'm right handed, but do a great deal of shooting left handed.  I have Hogue grips on all my AR's, the transition from left to right handed is seamless.  The Hogue is worlds more comfortable than the stock A2... and agreed, the Pachmayr looks goofy...

Ergo makes an ambi grip but the First Samco G27 grip is more comfortable BY FAR and its fully ambi.

I like my Houge grip.  It looks like it's the same on both sides, so it should work for a lefty.

I'm a lefty shooter and I have Hogue grips on every one of my AR-style rifles (AR15s/AR10s).  I find them to be the best.
