I've seen a preproduction model, but did not fire it (they are really crabby about that at the Shot Show). The fold out bipod legs looked kind of flimsy and the piece of metal that joins them looks like a real thick paperclip. It's ugly as hell and pretty cheesey looking, but if it shoots sort of mediocre (like a mini-14) I would guess they will sell a bunch of them if they are cheap enough.
The kel-tec representative I spoke to was pleasant, but not too knowledgeable. He was not real clear on the difference between .223 chambering and 5.56, he also showed me how a 30 round mag fits into the stock and told me it was a 20 rounder. He did claim that they had fired Wolf and other cheap stuff through it and it worked okay, whether that was true or salesmanship because he thought I was actually interested in ordering a bucket load of them, I don't know.
