I live in Gwinnett and was curious where other members here shoot. I go to Wilson Shoals up in Gainesville mainly. Any of you guys live close by that shoot your AR's there? If not where do you mainly shoot? Any upcoming events?

I'm in Gwinnett county also. Go to the Charlie Elliot WMA range for outdoor shooting. In fact, plan to spend the day there next Monday (5/5)

EODTECH2000 Is the Fort Benning Range about 90 miles from you? It is a great range to shoot at, especially since you can shoot all you want as a member. I figured there would have been one closer to you even on Warner Robbins though.

W30Olds the closest outdoor range to shoot at is Wilson Shoals, Straight up 985.  We like to do get togethers at Charlie Elliot sometimes too.  Check out the GA Hometown board and look for our next get together.


BTW How did the incident with the Boy Souts Troop Leader turn out?

If any of you live in South GA, it might be worth the day to come to North FL for one of our monthly FL Defensive Carbine Club matches. They are for fun only, and it's completelty free to participate. Just show up with your rifle and some ammo to burn. We're at a range in Lake City the last sunday of every month. There's directions to the range on the www site in my signature. Here's a couple pics from last weeks shoot.

English Range at Ft. Benning is great. They have targets out to 360 yds. They hold matches  monthly and night matches during the summmer. It is worth the 90 minute drive from Atlanta. You can call (706) 689-3371 or email them at [email protected]. It is best to email them. The range is open from 1200-1700 Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sun, and 0900-1700 Sat. I hope that helps.
