What's the consensus on PRI Gas Buster charging handles? Would they be correct for a Block I, or are they more 1.5/II?

Did a bad thing and ordered a new kac ras. So I will have the ras and the aimpount qrp mount to start my block 1 build. I will need to get some more rail covers and kac vfg as the rail I bought only has 3 11 rib panels. It's the commercial pack from kac.

Are there any options for putting the old school surefire tape switch on the top rail without zip ties or rubber bands? I really like the cloud defensive mounts and am considering getting another. Wondering if it would even fit?
Or, thinking of just ditching the m951 altogether for a m600. Are those block 1.5 acceptable since the insights are impossible to find. |

Don't forget the spacer for the QRP mount to get the M2 or PRO up to the right height. A PRO looks identical to the M2 but has better internals. |

PRO has different caps for windage/ elevation. Yes, that's true but are easily changed out to the earlier models. I did that with mine. I also added a double battery compartment but that does not have to be done. The PRO is far better than any used M2. Attached File |

Been back and forth over the last year of buy/sell/ collecting some clone parts
Scanned most of the thread and after the last few pages seeing the discussions on Block 1 vs MWS im seeing where I stand Parts I have or enroute to me TA01NSN KAC RAS kit with panels and broomstick 14.5 Colt SOCOM fsp barrel C stamped upper receiver SOPMOD stock (currently only a gen2) Colt C stamped and MPC bcg PRI gas buster KAC 300m Matech BUIS Dont have a decent clone lower yet but have a Colt A2 and standard trigger guard on whatever i use as a placeholder. Thinking of ordering caps to make 1 of my Aimpoint PROs looke the M2 part since my astigmatism is pretty rough with a 4moa dot. For this Id like to find a Wilcox mount Edit: also I see a ton of 951 with the thinner bodies (not fat with a flat spot) are these actual SOPMOD lights or general issue M4/MWS |

Would a colt barrel on a FN upper be a blasphemous no go for a clone?
