Well, Now I'm thinking about getting the YHM handguards. Anyone own these?? Any pics of them mounted???

Also, will Mag-pul handguard covers fit on them???

Thanks

I have the one peice FF tubes and I highly reccomend them.  Why not just get the FF tube?  And yes the Magpul will work on them.

I forgot to add, that I think for the price, ease of installing them, and quality I think they are a great buy.

I put them on my bushy carbine and absolutely love em. If you are putting them in a 14.5 or 16 barrel there is no practical reason to go FF in my opinion.

RB Precision has them.  I'm sure there are some others as well.

Tagged.

This looks like what I have been looking for.  Too bad they are still over $100.00.   I wish someone made something similar for half the price.

I have the YHM Spectre kit on my 16" upper.  Quality and value for what you get is great.  Their customer service was great, the gentleman I talked to measured parts for me over the phone.  If I had one suggestion, it would be to get the lightweight version of their handgaurd.  Not that I don't like being able to beat a bear with my AR, but we don't have many bears here in Arizona, at least not big ones.

I think they are the best for the money. I love mine. I have the free float one piece type. I think these are better. Just my opinion.

Here's my M4gery with the YHM FF handguards.  I love 'em, and so does my daughter!

Very nice IZZY Turrican!!

As for the price I think if you found anyone who made these for less than $100, the quality would begin to decline.  Afterall, the YHM's are half the price of the rest of the same type setups.  The FF type is just under $100 IIRC

QUIB.

Is that the new Magpul grip I see on your carbine?

If so, what do you think, and if so where did you pick it up?

no hijack intended, AKMan
