Greetings, After lurking for a while I thought I would log in and try to get some input on a rifle &scope combo I have coming. I have, on the way, a Colt CR6724 and a Leupold Vari X lll 6.5 x 20 LR, 30mm, varmint reticle. The mount is a Armalite one piece unit. What can I expect from this rig and how should I break it in? This is my first venture into the target/varmint field as I have always been a deer, hog and bird hunter. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Meatloaf

I've owned the exact same combo.  You "may" a problem with eye relief using the Armalite mount.  You will be absolutely amazed at the accuracy of that rifle.  I've never even heard of one of the CR6724's that wasn't a tack driver.  My rifle had a fetish for the Georgia Arms 55grn NBT's; give them a try.
