You can remove the roll pins, but if it's a standard lookalike stock, it has a full length buffer tube and will not function the way you plan.
It would have to be replaced. Does the tube extend all the way to the rear of the stock? |

Thanks for confirming what I suspected, guys.
TheRicker, It appears to be a "true" collapsable stock. Pins are gone, and here's what it looks like now.

You must remove the old stock and install a new one with a new buffer tube, spring, etc...AND THEN YOU MUST SEND THE OLD ONE TO FIENSWINE!!! Tell her you don't need it anymore.
 That's the politest thing I could think of.

Yes, it is. In its shortest position, the buffer tube is flush with the butt of the stock (shoulder plate). |
