My friend and I are conducting an experiment with USA magazines. He is taking machine and tool classes at the local college, and we are going to try to use their tools to see if we can heat harden steel USA magazine of mine.

Since the thinckness of the metal is about the same as the Royal Ordnace mags, these mags may be half way decent if they were stiffened up.

I'll keep everyone updated.

I've also found their feedlips to be a hair too short.  Check yours before going to all that trouble.
