Hopw well does stainless steel hold a paint job? I am trying to put a rifle together with probably a SS barrel and I want to Krylon it all camo afterwards, will the barrel hold this well you think, or should I use something else? Thanks.

Krylon sucks on firearms.

Duracoat or Norrells will be much better.

Thanks, will it have issues sticking to stainless?

Scratch it up with some 400-600 grit. Then Brownell's Alumihyde II. Pretty tough.

Paint wont stick well to SS, get some teflon moly coat at Brownells, will work great. My DCM AR came with a factory teflon moly coat barrel (called "blackened") as an option. Looks and works great.
