I've read and read about the 6.5 Grendel vs 6.8 Rem SPC. thing here and was wondering if RRA is planning on coming out with a 6.5 Grendel along with your 6.8 Rem. SPC? I'm not trying to start a 6.5 vs 6.8 war here, I'm just interested in RRA's thoughts.
I'm not sure that I understand the subtleties of the two besides, 6.5 longer range vs 6.8 better knock down power, but I am intrigued with both and wonder if RRA picked the 6.8 over the 6.5 or just decided to come out with it first.
If you chose the 6.8, how and using what criteria? Is one caliber inherently better (or worse) to set up to run effectively and reliability in the AR15 size package? With the 6.5 Grendel's more severe neck down, do you see more of a feeding reliability issue with it over the 6.8?
Also, with Wolf now making 2 (maybe 3) different rounds in 6.5 but none yet in 6.8, does that affect RRA's planning?
