Uh, yep, but I would add a footnote somewhere in that very long sentence, that the endemic corruption that exists in EVERY level of government and it's policies these days, subverts any thought of free market capitalism. Gummint control and intrusion is pervasive.
It follows ML's post that those hanging on to control by corrupt Fed policies are a continuation today like the Fed designers did 100 years ago.
When I took my college finance classes on Fed Monetary Policy some 29 years ago, I was baffled by the way the system worked. They have always "gamed " the system. Nowadays the policies are incomprehensible and the general, under-educated public does not care.
Even those older folks who are directly impacted by low interest rates, don't want to hear why things are the way they are. It's absolute corruption and cannot not be fixed. It's just a matter of when the crash comes ( my guess is somewhere in 2020-2025 - like I really know anything).
BUT.. this really does not get ME down too much because everything I have is paid for, I am very self-sufficient, self-employed, I have 6 LT guns, two more on order , growing ammo stocks , I can hit what I aim at and I can garden.
