Hello LaRue experts and LaRue employees.
I have a Stealth upper with an 18" barrel. What I'd like to do is have it cut to 13.7" and have a Noveske KX3 perm. attached. Will this setup run reliably with the midlength gas system? I'm hoping the KX3 would help, since it is intended to increase backpressure and prevent short stroking.
EDIT 2- After seeing the other thread, I'm going to again point to the first part of my statement and withdraw. Sometimes the stuff that works in your head doesn't always work in real life. Good luck!

OK, I fit into neither of the groups of people you are asking, BUT, my thinking is that 14.5" middies run well, in fact, those who have that set up really like it (I'm STILL waiting on a LW 14.5/mid barrel from CMMG from like 6 months ago) , and don't seem to have any trouble. You are only losing .8" from a 14.5 and then you are adding the pig to increase cyclic reliability, I would venture to guess you will be GTG.
ETA: that actually sounds like a pretty cool setup, I'm gonna add it to the list for future builds.
