Do you know if the extractor on the Spike 5.45 is the same as standard 5.56 extractors
On the S&Ws 5.45 extractors are different than the 5.56. They will not sell or mail the 5.45 specific extractor. I'm getting tired of mailing the whole upper to them to get the replacement part. It's on their dime but still kind of inconvient.
If I can the Spike's 5.45 bolt works with standard extractors I'd get it. Folks shooting the Spike's 5.45 might know or need to know soon.

I do not believe so. Mine chipped and I tried a 5.56 extractor, and it was 'meh' at best.
I called Spikes and they sent me a new one for free, and it was specified as a 5.45 extractor.

We use the same Government contractor that S&W uses for 5.45 bolts. Specs should be identical and compatible with each other.

So a spikes extractor should be the same as a S&W 5.45 extractor.... Good news, If I ever have problems i can give Spikes a ring for one
