@RainierArms-Sales
I am considering the RUM Mod 2 18” SPR barrel for build I am working on.
I would like to be able run this barrel with an Allen Engineering AEM5 suppressor which is basically a clone of th Ops Inc 12th Model suppressor.
The barrel description on your site says this barrel has an “improved MK12 profile”. What exactly does this mean? Are the profile dimensions different than a standard MK12 barrel? Will there be any issues using the AE brake and suppressor collar? Should I be concerned about possible suppressor fit issues?
I was told the gas port size on this barrel is .980. Is this correct? Have you done any extensive suppressed firing with it? If so, were their any reliability issues?
I would shoot mostly 77gr Mk262 clones. Is there a particular factory loading this barrel shoots extremely well?
Assuming the shooter does his part what type or accuracy/precision should be expected from this barrel?
Thanks!
