I know that that the bolt catch itself will wiggle..I'm sure every AR will..I'm talking about the B.A.D. lever itself..
Other people have reported the same sort of problem. Some bolt catches are a little undersized, and the BAD won't fit tightly on them.
Couple of possible solutions:
- You could try tightening the screw a little, but if it's already tight, that would just result in the threads getting stripped out.
- You could try inserting a shim of some sort between the bolt catch and the BAD lever. I'm not sure where you would find a shim of the right thickness that will hold up to extended use.
- More than one person has mentioned using J. B. Weld to fill in space between the catch and the BAD to solve this sort of fitment problem. This will, however, affix the lever to the catch fairly permanently.
If I were you, I would probably go the J. B. Weld route, after confirming the screw was tightened all the way down. If you decide you don't like the result, you'll need to buy and install a new bolt catch (an $6-$12 part).
