The Tripod attaches onto a rail, its a QD system as well. I added some more pictures to my post to show the attatchment better.

Why goin' for a QD mount on that rifle? Wouldn't a fixed mount be a little better for that?

Here is my TBA M40a3.  I have had her for about 6 years now.  Had some things done to her to make her spec as issued in 1999.  I absolutely love the way she shoots.  Just got back from deployment last week cant wait to go out and shoot her after the weather gets a little warmer.

Pretty sure I posted this in the other thread, but I'll post it again.

It's my first precision rifle and I'm having all sorts of fun with it. It's a $1100 budget build, but I really like it. I'd like to get a better stock, but money doesn't permit and I'm not sure if I really need one anyways. My main goal when buying it was to just have fun, and learn about precision shooting. I obviously like to be accurate, but I'm not the kind of person who measures groups and whatnot. I just like to go out into the field and set up targets at random distances and shoot them.

Note my extremely tactical bag. I need to get a new bag, because the rifle doesn't fit in it with the bipod on, but it was my dad's so I'm going to keep using it.

Did you have to do any thing to it to make it work with your 10pc?  I've heard there are no stocks available to work with the accustock models.  Also how much weight did it add to the rifle?

ETA: Pic thread and all that.

It was a drop in stock. No modifications to make it fit.  It just does not have the wedge like the accustock does.  It does add a bit of weight though im not sure how much.  I can put it on my scale to give an idea of total weight. My guess is 12 lb +

ETA: I weighed it on my bathroom scale and it came in at a pudgy 14.4 lbs.

This would be the one your looking for http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct/?productnumber=761001
