Just curious if anyone owns one of the exotic AR platforms of excess in these calibers, like the Noreen BN36X3 - 300-7mm Mag or Bad News 338 Lapua, just curious how they actually shoot, accuracy, recoil etc. Obviously a just because you can buy, but do they perform?

I have several friends that have them, and a few of them have reliability issues.
They're neat, but I'd rather have a bolt gun in magnum calibers, and most of them wish they would've spent the money elsewhere. They lack in many areas enough to not compete with in ELR, and too heavy to want to pack around the mountains for elk. |
