I would. I love Elecraft, radio and building kits. I'm running a K3 now.

I dream of a k3 with a hf amp, vhf amp, and roller tuner sitting on my desk. I have even toyed with getting rid of the ts-2000 for a k3 the only problem is th price even for the kit.
I bought the tj4a from Youkits and have really enjoyed it. My thread is on here if you do a search. |

No I can't
I have had one qso on 40m with it and have a video of it pulling in a couple stations but I haven't really used it. Its my play thing I have toyed with the idea putting the autotuner from elecraft in it, I also thought about mounting and wiring a raspberry pi in it so I can do psk with a display and keyboard |

Get a K3. They are great little radios. Elecraft customer support is simply wonderful. Read the reviews on eham.net
I'm thinking of getting one to supplement my FT-1000mkV. |
