I have a Powermate 7500 genny I purchased new and only ran it about 10 hours. I changed the oil and ran the gas out before I stored it at our vacation home. It's been in a garage out of the elements for four years. We sold the vacation home and I brought the genny back to my house recently. Looks as new as the day I bought it but are there any precautions to heed before starting it up after all this time?

check the fuel lines to make sure they aren't dry rotted.  otherwise, it should fire right up if you ran it out of fuel when you stored it.
