Well the baby condor seems to have a good capacity, the only draw back I see just reading their web site is that you can't carry much water. Call me picky but if I can't slide the 100 oz. bladder in, I don't look at it. As for the pack on CTD, the reviews don't sound very good so if it's between these two go for the baby condor. my $.02 |

I bought one of those tore it up the first day, sent it back the second. Then I bought one from CTD same deal just plain ole garbage. My 02 from experience.. |

I know it probably will but for $15 it gives me the chance to see and use the size. if I like it I will get the maxpedition that it was knocked off from.
I got the larger bag from CTD and it has held up suprisingly well. I have it as my BOB and I take it 3 day hiking atleast one every other month. (even on the hottest weekend in GA!) it outlasted a north face that my wife carried on a couple of hikes. I'll give it a try and see how it holds up. I tend to be pretty rough on my stuff anyway so it will be a descent test. |

DON'T DO IT!!! You would be wasting a good $15.00 bucks. I got the same one from CTD and I took it out for a hike one day when it was raining. The color all but ran from the back onto my back. My bag is now purple instead of black. The buckles and straps are less than stellar. Get the condor. It is a great pack. I have one and I am getting another. Try LA police gear they have good prices.

The Baby Condor is one of my favorite medium sized packs for when you don't need add-on options. Well built but doesn't have all the exterior webbing - can pass as a book bag.

Looking at packs etc. myself. My only beef with the "tactical" (maxpedition/kifaru) packs is this:
They're heavier, smaller, and cost more. For what I can possibly imagine using any of my gear for, the "civilian" type packs seem more practical. |

I just ordered th Baby Condor this morning from Lapolicegear.com been wanting one and since it dropped 10 more bucks in price to 49.99 couldn't pass on it any longer. Will post a reveiw when I receive it.

well this can't be good. the tracking number that LApolice Gear sent me shows delivered....in 2006! but in the deatils it shows it moving....
