Thursday Nov 5th.
Election, work, BS....
Conspiring to piss me off.
So played hookey.

Mid 70s so too hot to hunt.

( Note Freedom Contrails)

Got there at slack high.
Slow for 20- 30 min, but once tide started falling, Katie bar the door.
Hard to fish two rods.

Fish over 20# were dragging me around.
One was hooked THRU the tongue, about beat me to death trying to unhook and splashed 20 gal in kayak.

Kept the 4 smallest. Usually like 2-4# for eaters.

Funny thing, went back 4 days later, same spot, same bait, same tide, same temp and couldn't catch any big enough to eat, LOL.

First 3 fish were 3 different cat species:
Blue, channel, then a white.
Should've moved shallow and caught a bullhead.

Perfect eatin' size. I've been cravin' some blackened catfish, but haven't managed any incidentals from crappie fishing yet.
