SIL selected for Major USAF

Heard he was selected for major today, looking for suggestion on a nice present. I have some oak leaves from when I was at CBP, maybe a silver dollar, I don't know. Is there some kind of tradition for Air Force officers?

Ah - SON in law - will not suggest some of the wimminz themed ideas then, but USAF, may still apply...!

OK - I'd look at getting HIM a nice Randall knife of some sort - or if too spendy a Boker or Gerber maybe?

My wife put on her oak leaves,.then the next day had our son.

I didn't get her anything for either.

I'm an ass, I know. But, point is, no tradition I know of.
