I will officially be sworn in tomorrow. As in my last posts about a corrections officer I was offered the position today and accepted it. I CANT WAIT thanks for all the good information about the job. I know its not an easy one and not exactly where I want to be. BUT I will get my training there for awhile and move on to much bigger and better things when I know its the right time.

Yeah but the fiancee doesnt want me to still do it

Dude, before you do this you need to come to keep in mind that your relationship with your finacee will probably end. Don't let it come as a surprise one day. Expect it.

Goodluck in both your carrer and love life. Fron what I have read from you ...she has already lost. She is 2nd as is most cops wives.

Are you in Nove or the pretty part. I spent 3 years in Va. and miss it. I hope to visit there next year I have family that moved to nova.

Have fun and be safe. When I was a CO I couldn't believe how much grown men could bitch and moan about everything. I kinda wish I'd stayed. I was a shift sergeant and had it made.

O.K. Now that I am a sworn Corrections Officer. Does this mean I fall under the Bill of H.R. 218 or does this not allow me to carry off duty. This is a gray area and I know this so anyone from VA can you please tell me and verify this.
