Good afternoon everyone. I wanted to touch base with this forum to try and receive some insight. Long story short, my wife is possibly going to accept a position at Haywood Community College in Clyde NC. Neither of us have any knowledge of that area, other than reviews from different web sights. So any insight would be of great help!

From looking on Zillow, it appears the housing market is similar to areas in Georgia, to slightly higher for smaller homes. Are there any areas around that part to avoid? Another question is cell phone services/ reception. I currently have Verizon and with the AT&T First net offer, we are considering switching. How does At&t fair up there?

We have both been to Charlotte, but it seems very similar to the Atlanta area. When looking into employment, what agencies should be avoided or looked at? I have done some research about the process of being a lateral transfer, i am hoping it to be a smooth transition if this all comes to head.
