If I remember right when I had mine, they didn't keep a picture, just the facts & measurements.

They told me to bring a VCR tape if I wanted a copy; otherwise, I saw nothing to suggest he kept the record.
<ETA... got a few brain cells in line and remembered that he did indeed print up a couple of pictures for the sake of the next doctor to review the sonogram. I was there on a complication though and he focused on those areas.> |

Depending on the person doing the ultrasound. When my wife was pregnant with twins they printed pictures every time they did an ultrasound and she was given a few pics to keep too.

Yes - both times my OB has kept pics.

I have pics and video of our son and the OB has pics in my file, along with pics of all the other things going wrong inside, I really hate seeing them when we open my file every time I go in.

oh my gosh! totally! I remember the first time they showed me pics after my lap - uh - no thanks! then they asked me if I wanted to see a video of the surgery. EW! no! Let's just stick to the blurry black and white bean pictures.
