Just wanted to drop in and say HELLO to everyone. We survived Hurrican Ivan here in North Alabama.
Our power was only out for about 3 hours. We cranked up the Generator for about an hour and then the power came back on. We're the lucky ones. There's still hundreds of thousands without power. I hope that they will get power soon though. You really never know how much you take electricity for granted when you don't have it. I mean yeah,there's other stuff to do besides getting online. But knowing that you can't,make's all the difference in the world! Anyway,I hope you all are doing well! Sincerely, Mona ( who has been MIA for a spell again )   |

Glad you guys made it through all right. Power was out around here for about 10 hours. We had a lot of tornadoes, too. Mother nature sure can be a b*tch, can't she?

glad you are OK--i was thinking about you the other day and hoped you wouldnt get too roughed up

I'm so glad to hear you guys are okay! We have some relatives in the area and my mom keeps emailing me updates... i've been thinking about you!

Super Good - welcome back. I was thinking about all you guys that were in the path.
Thanks to the chicken - she saved me from getting into trouble with my Avatar. In the mean time I've got a temp, and am upset cuz I really liked the green eyes. Anyway - thanks for the heads up & a BIG APPLAUSE TO ALL THE SURVIVALISTS |

I have a Friend in Virginia and she said that they got a lot of Tornados. Luckily for her and her family they didn't touch down where she lives.

Glad you are all OK--I have a friend in Florida I just talked to today. She 's near Tampa/St. Pete and said they didn't get much of anything from any of the hurricanes.
I'm not hurricane prone, but we had to deal with this earlier this year. |
