Yes, it is legal, provided that it is legal to possess at your beginning and ending points. You can stop for the night, but you can't, say, go sightseeing or go to Disneyland, under this provision. It's intended to protect travellers, not vacationers.

Does the statute actually address the overnight stay? If not, what are you basing your opinion on? Robertesq1, Just curious - how do you travel "through" California? Don't you just end up in the Pacific Ocean? Are ARs legal there? [:D] |
