Would this be legal ?

Attach a push solenoid to the trigger and trigger gaurd, then attach a wire from the solenoid to a variable timing circuit, which would be attached to a push button and then to a battery.

When the pushbutton is depressed, the timing circuit would generate a signal at a set frequency (period of time), which would cause the push solenoid to push trigger backwards, causing the gun to fire.

Now, since it fires only one round per trigger pull would it be legal ?

Someone may argue that the real trigger is the push button.

You live in Florida.  Just go out and buy a machinegun.

I don't believe so.  Any hand-cranked device, like the GAT trigger, BMF Activator, gatling gun, etc., is okay.  However, it is illegal to add electronics to those cranks.

My guess is that the BATF would take a dim view of your [neat] idea and declare it to be a machinegun.

Nice try, though!

What if you use a gas powered engine!!!!

yeah it would probly be a MG kinda like how if u add a motor and have it turn the crank on your gatling gun it makes it a MG :(

Prebans and DaveG are correct.  A hand crank mechanism is ok.  If you attach a solenoid, electric motor, drill, or other powered device to either press the trigger or power the crank, that device becomes the "trigger" and by turning it on, you are initiating more than one round per pull of that powered "trigger".

GAT trigger type hand cranks seem very basic. I'm interested in hearing if further development possibly compounding other forms of mechanical advantage would be 'admissable'.

It would be a MG. ATF refers to "MANUAL PULL" of trigger. Look at the electric motor on the Mini-Gun:more than one shot fired with push of button. Now you want a control box with a "DUTY CYCLE" idea, sounds like more than one shot with the "MANUAL PULL" (push) of the button.
Probably need to be an 07/C2 and build as a Post Sample to be legal.
