Does anyone know where I can find and or download images that I could put into a power point presentation?  I am interested in popular, modern firearms, primarily handguns.

I remember going to a vendor site that had IIRC an animation of the 1911 function cycle at the top of it's home page.

here is one option: just go to google.com in their Image search engine and type the type(s) of firearms you would like to see.  You'll usually get a good number of pictures to choose from..  check it out:
