Man made global warming and Al Gore will be known as both the biggest scam and most full of shit idiot in history.  Al Gore is a ignorant, lying bastard who refuses to debate his bogus claims and anyone who believes in one word of his horse squeeze for one minute without actually doing some research for yourself is just as stupid as him.  The earth has heated and cooled as far back as we can scientifically measure.  1998 was the last peak year heat wise. 20 years ago Time Magazine was scaring people into thinking the next ice age was soon upon us.   If you follow the data from the ice core samples from Antarctica, the earth has changed so drastically from hot to cold that until recently, relatively speaking 7000+- years, human life could not have survived.  Without getting into a huge religion argument, it is interesting that the biblical scholars believe the earth isn't billions of years old, but rather several thousand.  The Bible describes a line of descendants of Adam and Eve, and if we add ages of these people, this can lead to an estimate of the age of the earth of somewhat more than six thousand years. Such an age is in strong contrast to what many scientists say about the age of the earth being a few billion years. Saying that,  the Bible is no science book, but a book of faith and Christianity is not a religion, it too is based on faith.  If God created Adam to look like he was a man, 18 or so for this argument, then might He not have created the earth to look older than is is as well.
