Simple question pics and links would be nice.

I have used the Tango Down and I liked it, however I dropped that VFG for the Bobro for it's ease of removal and installation without having to remove other items mounted on the same rail.

I have only owned a LT FUG and I'm happy with it.

My vote?

None.

I had one and took it off.  It got in the way more than anything.  But I am not an expert and I have never been shot at.  So my experience is worth what you paid for it.

I've got the LaRue and am quite pleased. Very solid and easy on/off

TD or a LT FUG and you can't go wrong with either. Just a company/availability issue at the time of purchase IMO.

this, I've used both (among others) and these two are the best
just comes down to personal preference
I think the LaRue FUG costs about $20-$30 more than the Tango Down but I like mine

I spent $10 on mine, and I'm happy with it.

I think they are good for "driving" a carbine quickly onto up close targets. They also are a good handle on a rail with flashlight attached.

My favorite so far has been the LaRue FUG. It's expensive, but it's priced close to the TD quick detach unit.

I just have a KAC grip on mine. It works...

I like this one from SOG Armory.  I have it on my rifle and I'm quite pleased.

I like the Spike's Tactical grip I have on mine. Comes in a kit with full size and stubby end caps. It isn't QD, though.

Well, it must be LaRue of course, but I prefer the simple and inexpensive KAC VFG.

I had one and got sick of it.    I really like an AR to be as light as possible.   Between machined aluminum handguards, foregrips, Red Dots, magnifiers, and flashlights, you can really weigh a gun down.

I prefer the Tango Down.  I use the none QD and have no qualms about them.  They fit on securely with no play.
