I have none atm , used to do some MMO or ARMA for the winter but tired of epic vid games and mission editing. I'm in a small apartment and was thinking of taking up reloading but primers and other supplies are hard to find and trying to figure out where to mount a press in here so far hasn't happened but cranking out a few K of 308 and .223 would be fun. So what are some of your winter projects going to be?

Next year you can either rent some warehouse space or buy a tiny piece of land and build a shelter for your hobbie. I suggest a second job and prepairing for teotwawki / shth. |

In the next ten weeks I need to fix up and sell my home of nine years, pack up all the stuff that accumulates over that kind of time in a large house on acreage with outbuildings and so on, find a new home in a state I've never been in before on the other side of the country, drive across the country, get the new place purchased/fixed up possibly and moved into, and hopefully manage to be around when daughter #2 arrives sometime around thanksgiving. So I'll have to do all this with an infant and a toddler in tow and a wife who's basically incapacitated the entire time.
I'm just about peaking out on stress at the moment. This weekend was bad, I had three showings scheduled on the house and none of them showed up, and then some people did show up to look at fracking midnight. |

My goal this winter is to improve my snowboarding.
I want to throw 720s consistently. I've already done a couple frontside and can do 360's fairly consistently (frontside, backside, regular and switch). I also want to do backflips and to improve my front flips. I can already do front flips (hit or miss). I want to learn how to handplant without breaking something. Those are the major things, besides that I just want to improve my consistency with dynamic carving, "dolphin turns" and terrain features (rails, boxes, jibs). |

I'm gonna build a big ass heavy duty smoker. I've got all the stuff in my shop to build it. 20" 3/8 wall pipe. I've got the Firebox built already. I need to find a good trailer axle to put it on. I might keep it, or I might sell it. |

Dry fire.
Try to keep my girlfriend warm with resorting to turning on the electric heat in our condo. |

I need to come up with a word working idea

Adding hydraulic pick up lift and tongue swing to my New Holland 273 baler. It will save a lot of trips on and off the tractor.
Cut a few dead trees up for fire wood. Drink more beer. |

I have an unfinished basement with one quarter of it filled with gunsafe/ammo stash/workbench/etc. It needs walls.

Just bought a house so I have many projects in line. Most include painting and/or remodeling. Fun stuff that makes me wonder why I wasted all that time in college with parties and drunk chicks.
....damn |

Truck: Fix some nagging driveability issues, fix rear main seal oil leak, new clutch new output seal. Some fabrication (rock sliders, rear bumper)
House: Nothing really planned other then gathering up the 421,623,234,723,622,932 leaves that have accumulated on the roof, gutters and flowerbeds. Personal stuff: Get about 80 hours of VHS tapes transferred to my pc, edited and burned to dvd. (Old home movies). Gather up AK building tools, perhaps actually do something with the parts kits I bought many moons ago. Try not to knock anybody up. Other then that: Find a frigging job. |
