G11 High standard shotgun Electromagnetic Personnel Interdiction Control project, AKA the Vomit Ray. The US Department of Homeland Security is working on a pistol sized version, which is a very unsettling thought. |

god, neosteads always make me drool. and the rex not going to production is a shame; its russian rite? any bullpups could probably make it in a scifi movie. the tommy gun/spas 12 combo was in "aliens"
that pic of connery will haunt my nightmares |

Didn't Tom Cruise use a Beretta in Minority Report that looked futuristic?

They catch a lot of heat here but having had the chance to handle one I liked it a lot. |

OST. Where can I get more info on the Rex 412? ETA: Never put into production? Lame. Polymer frame, break-action, .357 Magnum. Designed for the US market, but Bill Clinton cockblocked US gun owners (for the billionth time) and banned them from import. The Russians never bothered to make more because we were pretty much their only market for them. |

The selectable magazines (so you don't have to unload the gun to switch from buckshot to slugs; just flip a switch) and 12+1 capacity in a bullpup shotgun just gets me ten kinds of excited. I even like the Mag-7, despite the really short 12-gauge shells (about the only ones available in the US that fit into it are Aguila minishells) and fugly looks on the civvie version. I also want a Streetsweeper, but the ATF fucked me over on that by making them (and all other rotary drum shotguns) DD's. |

NORINCO Type 97 bullpup (shorty version) was actually used in the Stargate series as a Wraith weapon.
Them Commi Bug-Human hybrid thingies. |

Anybody remember those Calico carbines with the 100 round drums on top? I mentioned it in the OP. They make it into a LOT of sci-fi movies, including Spaceballs. |

I really want a Mateba. It's the only revolver the holds any interest for me but boy does it hold my interest. Check out the Medusa Model 47. .357 Magnum revolver, but the ejector also doubles as a built-in moonclip. You can load it with .357 Magnum, .38 Special, .38 S&W, 9mm, .380ACP, .38 Super, and more. Basically any .355"/9mm cartridge (minus bottleneck rounds like .357 Sig and the .365" 9mm Makarov); it chambers and ejects all of them just fine. The shorter the cartridge, the more accuracy suffers, but it's the ultimate pistol if you have to scrounge for ammo in the post-apocalyptic wasteland. It also has the strongest cylinder ever made in a revolver. |

MG34's were used in Star Wars Along with MG-42's, Sterling SMG's, Lewis Guns, Mauser c96 broomhandles, and a Russian .22 pistol. The prequels used guns that were entirely CGI or carved from wood instead of real guns. |

MG34's were used in Star Wars I think the MG34 is the most bad-assed looking weapon ever. I didn't say ALL euro guns were ugly! lol |
