Maple or Mathematica?

Which and why.

I'm a Maple man myself.

Huh?!?! Guess I'm not a nerd.

I use matlab, but only because I got it free, most of the people I know prefer maple.

Mathematica.  Because that's what they taught us in the math labs.

Whoa, you guys are nerds.

Maple and Mathematica are apparently calculus software packages.

Ahhhhhhhh but Mathematica is sooooooooo coool! Curves baby. I'm so hopeless with other compilers and their languages, but if you understand calculus, mathematica's so easy to use.  I loved it.

I never really cared much for Mathematica or Maple..I suppose I am a bit old fashioned..but I always liked solving my Math Problems the Old Fashioned Way...

The only time I ever really used computers is when I created a Mathematical Models of Nonlinear Dynamical Systems.

Forgot to meantion that I primarily use my TI-92 for all calculus and graphing. It's very nice and portable. And is almost a necessity for differential equations.

LISP!  I only used infix notation when forced to.z

Mathematica has better graphics.

Faster to process symbolic functions vs formatted functions.

Nonlinear Dynamical Systems.

Are these different from "Dynamic" systems?  Or are the math majors still language challanged?  You wouldn't tolerate this in a mathematical expression, why in English?
