One is a PENTIUM processor (old architecture - 65nm, higher voltage, more heat) and one is a CoreDuo processor (new architecture, 45nm, less voltage, less heat).



Its like asking what is the difference between an F-15 and an F-22.... they both have wings, right?

Also, the Core2Duo is a 64bit CPU.
