Here's another question for the hive mind here. I have an old Crossman Mark II pistol and I'm looking for someone to refurbish it. It has a single action type " feeling" trigger that is adjustable if I remember right. I looks a lot like a Ruger pistol, and has a large thumb rest on the left side of the grip. This thing was the most accurate air pistol I think I've ever fired, although I haven't fired an Olympic grade competition one. Anyway, I miss shooting it, and I'd like to get it up and running. If not, I'd like to find a working one.

I have one as well that I don't use anymore - doesn't hold air, though.  If you need parts, give me a call and I'll ship it to you.

Google up Mac-1 airguns.  Never used 'em myself, but they have a helluva reputation, and a serious affinity for the Crosman MkII pistols.

The 1377 was my favorite air gun.

It was only a 10 pump for max pressure single shot, but wow!

The originals in the 80's were 900fps. Now they only make them 600fps.


Might still be hot rodded to original specs.

Yeah, I had of those as well, with the shoulder stock. It was awesome. I also had the bigger Crossman .22 cal air rifle that looked like the 766( I think), it was chrome plated or something, and it would knock a squirrel down about as good as a .22 rifle if you pumped it up 10 times. I just looked it up, it's the 2200. Don't remember the fps but I think it was about 800.

I also had the one with the stock, but the furniture was blue or gray, IIRC. That thing was like excalibur to a 13 year old. I think it was called the backpacker.
