Wow!!  Sounds pretty lucky the kid hit the badguy and not the grandmother.  It was definitely justified!  That kid deserves a medal!

Good shoot! Practice paid off and saved his remaining family.

Of course, the antis will cite this as a case of a gun in the home being 500 times more likely to kill a family member or acquaintance than a criminal intruder.  [rolleyes]

Thank goodness that pistol didn't have a trigger lock!

Gun and kids are a dangerous combination...

Ban guns... for the intruders.

Wow that is an amazing story.  It would probably be a cold day in hell if you see this story in CNN. Only if it was something illegal or something would it make it.

Truth be told, it was JoJo with his new girlfriend and taser.  Some of you might not know but, JoJo is an eleven y/o Asian boy trapped in a womans body.

Cool story,

Wonder why this didn't appear on Fox?
Cnn and the networks I can understand, but Fox?

Why don't we apply some pressure on the big networks to run a spot on this?   If anyone who reads of this article takes a minute to link it in an email to each of the big networks, in no time they'll have received hundreds of requests to cover this as newsworthy.

You can help them to change their tune, one note at a time.

Wow- he was hit by the mythical .45 in the chest and still managed to make it out of the house- and died at the emergency room!
I guess the .45 isn't the death ray that some of you 1911 old timers thought.
Seriously though, I wonder whether the pistol was loaded with fmj or hollow point ammo.  Oh well, only a Marine would wonder that...

I thought that .45ACP vaporized anything it hit.
