Three friars were behind on their belfry payments, so they
opened up a small florist shop to raise the necessary funds.
Since everyone liked to buy flowers from the men of God, the
rival florist across town thought the competition was unfair.
He asked the good fathers to close down, but they would not. He
went back and begged the friars to close. They ignored him.

He asked his mother to go and ask the friars to get out of
business. They ignored her too. So, the rival florist hired
Hugh MacTaggart, the roughest and most vicious thug in town to
"persuade" them to close.  Hugh beat up the friars and trashed
their store, saying he'd be back if they didn't close their
shop.

Terrified, they did so, thereby proving that.....

Hugh, and only Hugh, can prevent florist friars.

So, this farmer is working in his field. He notices that the cold weather from winter has brought a large rock to the top of the ground.

He goes over and tries to move it with no luck. He then goes to his barn and grabs a large board and goes back to the rock. He creates a lever and attempts to move the rock that way. The large board breaks.

Whil standing there looking at the mess, he notices his very large neighbor Nate walking by on the road. Nate stops and asks what the problem is. Well, the man says, I can't move this big rock out of my field. nate leans over and just picks the rock up, and carries it to the edge fo the field.

Moral of the story:
Better Nate than lever.
