No.  There are many more bodies of water that I can enjoy without fear of a current sweeping me over the side of a cliff.

The only way you're ever getting me to go to Zimbabwe is if it's renamed Rhodesia and the commie scum gets executed

My BIL was there when he and Big Sister toured Africa. In one picture, he's standing on top of that rocky ledge in his underwear...

Too much adrenalin for my tastes. On the other hand, he wanted nothing to do with my Ducati.

It would have been even more cool if he'd been wearing your sisters underwear

Those people are brave... not for being in the water near the cliff of a waterfall, but for visiting Zimbabwe. Hope they all got back in one piece.

Provide stimulus money for liberals to go tour any nation on The Dark Continent they want, only about 30% would return.  That's a return on investment.

Ian Smith. I think the same falls are in the background...

It would be exhilarating to take a dip in the devils pool, but I wouldn't feel safe there right now.

I'll stick with Wet 'n' Wild thanks (even though it resembles Zimbabwe in some ways).

IIRC, you can only swim in the pool during the dry season when the flow of the Zambezi River is at its lowest.  During the wet season the current would take you over.  But yes, it is one of the places I want to visit and I would swim in the Devil's Cauldron/Pool/Armchair.

ETA: And someday I want to BASE Angel Falls.  But not so long as Venezuela is in commie control.  What is it with beautiful waterfalls being in shitty places?

This.

Rhodesia used to be a beautiful place. Then it got replaced by two utter shit hole Hells called Zimbabwe and Zambia.

I'll gladly go to Rhodesia. I would NEVER go to Zimbabwe or Zambia.
