I have a spreadsheet that opens two copies of it self every time I open it. I can't close one without the other. How do I make one of them go away?

1) reboot.
2) re-create the problem on someone else's computer.

Select the window that you want to close, and press Ctrl + w



Save the remaining file and the problem should be gone.
